Canadian Mental Health Association Simcoe County Branch (CMHA SCB) is a non-profit charitable association providing a full scope of community-based mental health and addictions services. The CMHA community is filled with innovators who create change, professionals who deliver excellence, influencers who create impact, and passionate, determined people who are creating our vision of Mental Health for All. CMHA SCB’s over 270 staff and 140 volunteers support over 8,300 clients through programs and services offered at offices in Barrie, Orillia, Midland and Collingwood with a budget of almost $30M. In the last year, CMHA SCB proudly achieved Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada, expanded their base funding for community mental health and addictions services, purchased a new flagship facility to house core programs, and established innovative crisis services.

Due to the recent departure of a beloved CEO, who spent over 4 years at the helm of CMHA Simcoe County, the board is seeking a new leader to shepherd the organization into the future.  The CEO, in accordance with the agency’s policies, standards, and guidelines, is accountable to the Board of Directors for the overall operations and health of the organization including: finance, human resources, quality, health & safety, policies, asset & risk management, and implementation of the strategic directions.
