Sarah has 15 years of experience in executive search, focusing primarily on the health care, not-for-profit, and academic sectors, recruiting senior level executives and board directors. Sarah has gained valuable experience in both a global executive search firm, as well as Toronto and Vancouver-based boutique firms. In addition to her successful track record in executive search, Sarah has experience in career transition/management and governance advisory services. This diverse experience has enhanced her ability to have meaningful discussions with senior executives about their own careers and fit with her client’s roles. During her career, she has carved out a niche in development and advancement search work and has built an international network of fundraisers across sectors. She has extensive experience working with hospital foundations, community health organizations and healthcare charities across Canada.

Sarah has chosen to dedicate her career to making a meaningful impact to organizations that contribute to a better society. She cares deeply about partnering with clients and candidates to provide genuine, honest advice, guidance and feedback through transition. Sarah has participated on equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) committees, and has facilitated learning sessions around the incorporation of EDI considerations into the overall search process. Sarah truly enjoys coaching and supporting candidates throughout the process and values the long-term relationships she has built throughout her career.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Brock University.

Colette has 20 years of experience in the Canadian healthcare system.  She worked in the President’s office of St. Michael’s Hospital, where she played a vital role in the organizational workings of senior healthcare administration.  For her, working within such a dynamic and inner-city teaching hospital setting was both awe inspiring and life changing.  She has a deep respect and admiration for healthcare employees, at all levels.

Colette understands the intricate complexities of healthcare, which served her well as she transitioned into working within the healthcare practice of a global executive search firm before joining Mirams Becker.  She has been a key partner to Penny and Hayley, and instrumental in recruitments for a range of healthcare providers, including hospitals, government, health agencies and membership organizations.

With post-secondary education in business administration and public relations, coupled with her depth of experience and positive and engaging style, Colette acts as a key liaison for both clients and candidates throughout our entire search process.

Natalie has over 10 years of experience in executive search. She has supported a variety of search teams in a wide range of industries at both global and boutique firms. Along with her friendly and positive outlook, Natalie brings an inquisitive mind, curiosity, professional manner, and her solution orientation to the Mirams Becker team.

As a Consultant, Natalie’s role is to ensure that our clients benefit from thorough candidate research, as well as market and sector intelligence.  Natalie works with the Partners to build out strategic target lists for each search, identifying potential candidates and sources, and providing profile data for target organizations and candidates.  Natalie attended Ryerson University and Seneca College.

Dawn Liddell comes to Mirams Becker from the healthcare education sector, where she worked at Michener Institute of Education at University Health Network for almost a decade. Dawn worked in administration prior to joining the Communications and Marketing department, where her portfolio included alumni engagement.

Dawn attended George Brown College for Health Information, Medical Records Technology. Dawn supports the team in fresh research and targeted market mapping for each recruitment.
