Placement: Access Alliance appoints Cliff Ledwos as new Executive Director.
Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Cliff Ledwos has been selected as Access Alliance’s new Executive Director, effective July 2, 2026!
Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services is a community health centre dedicated to improving health, wellbeing and improved access to services for immigrants and refugees in Toronto. Their mission is to reduce barriers to health and social services, advocate for equity, and empower individuals to achieve better health outcomes. For over 35 years, they have been a trusted resource in the community, offering culturally appropriate health services, community programs, and settlement support. They’re committed to addressing medical, social, economic, environmental, settlement and integration issues through a range of services and support for newcomers at all stages of their lives.
As Executive Director, Cliff will oversee Access Alliance’s strategic growth, and work collaboratively with the board, staff, and partners to achieve greater use of community-based health resources, to effectively address the evolving needs of their newcomer clients and communities.
Cliff brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the community-based health sector. Most recently, he served as Acting Executive Director at Access Alliance, providing steady leadership and navigating complex changes while guiding an expansion of care and support, securing key provincial grants, and enhancing vital partnerships. Cliff is widely recognized for his people-centred approach, commitment to health equity, and mission-driven leadership. His background, strategic vision, and strong relationships across the sector make him ideally suited to lead Access Alliance into their next chapter.
Cliff holds a Master of Arts from York University and has dedicated his career to addressing the social determinants of health—ensuring that everyone, regardless of income or background, has the opportunity to thrive.
