Placement: Kensington Health appoints Nicole Barry as Vice President, Finance and Facilities / Chief Financial Officer

Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Nicole Barry has been selected as Kensington Health’s new Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, starting on November 4th, 2024.

Nicole has worked in senior leadership roles within finance and operations for more than two decades. Most recently, she served as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at MaRS Discovery District. Prior to that, she served as Director of Finance and Administration with Research Manitoba. She received the CPA Manitoba Early Achievement Award and was featured as a Top 40 Under 40 by CPA Canada.

In her new role, Nicole will lead the finance and facilities portfolios, ensuring the financial sustainability of Kensington Health, promoting services that meet the financial needs and expectations of those they serve, and serving as a key enabler in delivering high-quality, safe care. She will also help advance their research portfolio and ambitions.

Nicole holds the following designations: Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Human Resources Professional, and Institute of Corporate Directors. She completed a Master of Business Administration from Laurentian University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Nicole is a passionate community volunteer. She is the Board Chair at West Central Women’s Resource Centre in her hometown of Winnipeg and on the Board of the Daily Bread Food Bank.
