Placement: North York General Hospital appoints Terri Stuart-McEwan as Vice President, Clinical Services & Chief Nursing Officer

Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Terri Stuart-McEwan has been selected as North York General’s new Vice President, Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer, starting on February 11th, 2025.

This pivotal executive role will oversee NYGH’s acute care and specialized services, lead nursing professional practice and foster strong interprofessional care teams at NYGH, working closely with the Vice President of Medical and Academic Affairs and colleagues across NYGH.

A transformative healthcare executive provincially, nationally and internationally, Terri has focused on advancing clinical innovations that are rooted in interprofessional collaboration and system sustainability.

Most recently, she was Vice President, Clinical Programs and Chief Nurse Executive at Oak Valley Health and has extensive leadership experience in academic and community hospitals across Canada. Her collaborative work has included recent partnerships with Ontario Health and Canadian organizations, as well as international partnerships with Kuwait and Qatar.
