Placement: Renascent appoints Michael Lochran as Chief Executive Officer
Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Michael Lochran has been selected as Renascent’s new Chief Executive Officer, beginning December 29th.
Renascent is a leader in addiction and mental health treatment, with a proud legacy of serving Canadians for over 55 years. As one of the longest-standing addiction treatment providers in Ontario, Renascent has been steadfast in its mission to help save lives through compassionate addiction and mental health programs. At a time when addiction and mental health are among the most pressing social and health issues, Renascent is more passionate than ever to find ways to break down barriers and open doors to recovery, health and hope.
Reporting to the Renascent Fellowship and Renascent Foundation Boards of Directors through the Chair of the Boards, Michael will be responsible for leading Renascent in pursuit of its critical mission, engaging the organization and community in the achievement of strategic goals and vision. He will be responsible for overall leadership of Renascent’s programs, services and operations, community and government relations, fund-raising and social enterprise, and property management and development.
Michael brings over ten years of progressive leadership experience at Renascent, most recently in the role of Director of Programs and Operations. Michael leads with a deep commitment to Renascent’s values and mission and brings a powerful combination of strategic insight and operational leadership to achieve organizational growth. His vision and leadership will be instrumental in expanding their capabilities, strengthening their networks and resources, and shaping the next generation of innovation across the organization.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and has worked with multiple mental health and addiction groups and committees.
