Placement: Scarborough Academic Family Health Team appoints Raymond Kao as Executive Director
Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Raymond Kao has been selected as Scarborough Academic Family Health Team’s new Executive Director, effective August 25th.
As the Executive Director, Raymond will be responsible for translating SAFHT’s strategic direction into effective operational plans, aligning service delivery with community needs, and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. He will supervise and support managers and staff, ensuring appropriate hiring, training, evaluation, and performance development processes are in place.
Raymond brings over 19 years of experience in healthcare and has held progressive leadership roles in both the acute care and home and community care sectors, including positions in case management, program management and operations management.
Raymond achieved his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and his Master of Health Management from McMaster University.
