Mirams Becker welcomes Elaine Black as Manager, Search Operations

Toronto, April 22, 2024 — It is with great pleasure that Mirams Becker welcomes Elaine Black to the firm as Manager, Search Operations.

Working with Penny Mirams and Hayley Becker, the firms Co-Founders, Elaine is a welcome addition to a passionate team of experienced and executive search professionals. Elaine will make a positive contribution to our fast-paced, collaborative and nimble team while being an ambassador for the Mirams Becker brand to clients and the healthcare community.

Elaine joins Noelle Smith, Manager Search Operations, and the firms Principals, Sarah Adams and Natalie Woods.

Elaine brings many years of retail, business and non-profit administrative experience to the team at Mirams Becker. She has recently returned from the west coast where she worked for a Vancouver based executive search firm working in private, public and not-for-profit sectors such as healthcare, post secondary, and government. During her time there, she worked with multiple partners on executive level recruitments, and provided support for firm-wide special events and projects. Prior to that she spent time in various administrative roles in retail and business operations streamlining processes and providing support to leadership.

As a Manager, Search Operations, Elaine will support the Partners and Principals of Mirams Becker, and will collaborate with both clients and candidates throughout the search process.

Elaine is excited to return to the healthcare sector, where she started her career as a Developmental Service Worker and Educational Assistant at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
