Placement: Casey House appoints Priya Paul as new Chief Financial and Operating Officer
Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Priya Paul has been selected as Casey House’s new Chief Financial and Operating Officer, effective August 10th.
Casey House is a specialty hospital in Toronto providing ground-breaking care to people living with and at risk of HIV. They are Canada’s first and only hospital for people living with and at risk of HIV and have a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to health and well-being. Building on a legacy of advocacy and social justice, Casey House actively dismantles barriers to care and safe living, providing a community and sense of belonging that connects people to care.
As the new Chief Financial and Operating Officer, Priya will be an integral member of the Casey House and Casey House Foundation Executive team, providing strategic and operational leadership across finance, compliance and risk management, facilities, information technology, and dietary services. Priya will oversee financial stewardship, including operating and capital budgets, financial reporting, audit, payroll, treasury, and regulatory and funding compliance, while leading organizational risk management and supporting informed decision-making by senior leadership and the Board.
Throughout her career in nonprofit and public-sector organizations, Priya has provided financial, operational, and compliance leadership in complex, mission-driven environments. She brings extensive experience and a leadership style grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. She is deeply committed to advancing inclusive, stigma-free community services rooted in dignity and respect.
