Placement: Collingwood General & Marine Hospital appoints Angela Wiggins as Vice President, People & Culture

Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Angela Wiggins has been selected as Collingwood General & Marine Hospital’s new Vice President, People and Culture, beginning September 2nd.

As the new VP, People and Culture, Angela’s focus will include enhancing the well-being of staff and the culture of GBGH; leading organizational development opportunities; developing diversity, equity, inclusiveness, and wellness strategies and initiatives; creating and sustaining the hospital’s strategic human resources (HR) plan; labour and employee relations; and oversight of Occupational Health & Safety, Food Services, Environmental Services and Facilities.

Angela brings over 10 years of legal and HR experience, most recently as the Vice President, People & Culture at Georgian Bay General Hospital, and serves as Board Chair with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Simcoe County. Angela received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Ethics, Society and Law from the University of Toronto, and her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University.
