Placement: Homewood Health appoints Joan Jickling as Vice President, Nursing, Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer

Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Joan Jickling has been selected as Homewood Health’s new Vice President, Nursing, Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer, starting on July 29th, 2024.

Joan is a Registered Nurse, with more than 30 years of experience in clinical and advanced practice and has held formal leadership roles in a variety of settings for over 20 of those years, most recently with Halton Healthcare.

Joan grew up in a family of healthcare providers, which gave her a deep appreciation for the challenges patients face in the healthcare system and compassion for those with mental health and substance abuse disorders. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Wester Ontario and her Master of Nursing at the University of Toronto. Joan’s focus has always been on serving and supporting, she cultivates high-performance teams, drives innovation, and implements transformative solutions enhancing patient and provider experience across diverse healthcare settings.
