Placement: Kensington Health appoints Steve Scott as Vice-President, Ambulatory Care and Digital Services

Toronto, ON (Oct 12, 2023) – We are delighted to announce that, after an extensive national search, Steve Scott has been selected to serve as Kensington Health’s Vice-President, Ambulatory Care and Digital Services, effective November 13, 2023.

In his role, Steve will assume the responsibility of providing executive leadership and oversight for our ambulatory clinical programs, as well as our Information Management, Technology and Data Governance. Notable ambulatory programs under his leadership will include the Kensington Eye Institute, Kensington Vision and Research Centre, Kensington Screening Clinic, Kensington Diagnostic and Imaging Centre, and the Eye Bank of Canada (Ontario Division).

With over two decades of leadership expertise in healthcare and information management, Steve Scott brings a broad understanding of Ontario’s healthcare landscape and a proven ability to drive improved patient outcomes. A transformational leader, Steve’s career contributions have been recognized with national and provincial innovation awards, particularly for his work in enhancing emergency room triage to ensure timely and appropriate care.

Steve joins us from Ontario Health, where he played a pivotal role in helping shape provincial response and recovery strategies during the pandemic. He also spearheaded the vision for a comprehensive health system analytics resource for Ontario. Most importantly, Steve shares Kensington Health’s dedication to and passion for fostering community well-being, and we are enthusiastic about the positive impact his experience will have on our organization.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Business Management from McMaster University and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
