Placement: LOFT Community Services appoints Kevin Spafford as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Communications.
Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Kevin Spafford has been selected as LOFT Community Services’ new Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Communication!
LOFT Community Services is one of the largest community service providers in Ontario, supporting people facing a combination of mental and physical health challenges, addiction issues, poverty, and/or homelessness. They build customized supports that specifically address a person’s needs and offer them for as long as they’re needed. As one of the largest mental health service providers in Ontario, LOFT works with all major, local hospitals where they operate.
As the new Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Communications, Kevin will lead strategic partnership development, communications and brand stewardship, government and funder relations, growth strategy, and innovation. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, he will help advance LOFT’s growth strategy, performance measures, and key targets, while ensuring alignment across organizational strategy, new program and housing development, communications, and external partnerships. Kevin’s breadth of experience across sectors, combined with his strategic vision and collaborative leadership style, will play an important role in advancing LOFT’s strategic priorities, strengthening partnerships, and amplifying the organization’s impact across Ontario.
Kevin joins LOFT with nearly two decades of executive leadership experience spanning the non-profit, public, and corporate sectors. He brings extensive expertise in strategic planning, partnership development, brand stewardship, government relations, and organizational growth, with a strong commitment to helping mission-driven organizations expand their impact and better serve communities.
Kevin received his Honors Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
