Placement: LOFT Community Services appoints Thomas Di Carlo as Chief Financial Officer

Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Thomas Di Carlo has been selected as LOFT Community Service’s new Chief Financial Officer.

LOFT Community Services is one of the largest community service providers in Ontario, supporting people facing a combination of mental and physical health challenges, addiction issues, poverty, and/or homelessness. They build customized supports that specifically address a person’s needs and offer them for as long as they’re needed. As one of the largest mental health service providers in Ontario, LOFT works with all major, local hospitals where they operate.

As the new CFO, Thomas will be responsible for the development of the organization’s overarching financial strategy, including the investment policy for LOFT. Thomas will advise and collaborate with the senior leadership team and the Board to align financial planning with LOFT’s mission and strategic priorities, enhancing the overall impact and sustainability of programs and infrastructure while ensuring strong financial controls and reliable treasury operations.

Thomas brings more than 20 years of progressive experience as a strategic financial leader. Thomas’s experience and values align closely with LOFT’s strategic priorities and reflect a strong commitment to their mission of creating connection for individuals facing complex mental health, physical, addiction, and behavioural challenges.

Thomas is a Chartered Accountant and received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Waterloo, as well as his Masters of Accounting.
