Placement: Ontario Shores appoints Ashnoor Rahim as Vice President, Clinical Services
Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Ashnoor Rahim has been selected as Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences’ new Vice President, Clinical Services, beginning January 2nd.
Ontario Shores is a public teaching hospital dedicated to providing specialized mental health care for individuals with complex mental illnesses. Renowned for its compassionate, recovery-oriented approach, Ontario Shores offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services and leads the way in integrating clinical care with research, education, and innovation. As a center of excellence in mental health, Ontario Shores collaborates with patients, families, community partners, and academic institutions to transform lives and shape the future of mental health care in Ontario and beyond.
As the new VP, Clinical Services, Ashnoor will provide strategic and operational leadership across a broad and impactful portfolio that includes Geriatric Programs, Adolescent and Dual Diagnosis Services, Pharmacy, Outpatient Services, Integrated Health Services, Peer Support and Recovery College, Vocational Services, and Ethics. She will help shape and implement organizational priorities in alignment with the Board’s strategic directions and will champion a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient safety, while fostering strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
Ashnoor brings more than 20 years’ experience working in hospitals, community agencies and government, improving patient outcomes and experience across the health system. She has also held clinical and operational leadership positions and brings strong knowledge of health equity with the ability to use data as a mechanism for clinical improvements. Ashnoor has served on several provincial and regional planning tables and committees, including her current role as Chair, Provincial Geriatrics Leadership Ontario.
Ashnoor received her Master’s in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto.
