Placement: Participation House appoints Ross Ste-Croix as Executive Director
Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Ross Ste-Croix has been selected as Participation House’s new Executive Director, beginning December 1st.
Participation House Markham is a trusted and community-based organization dedicated to providing high-quality programs and services for adults living with physical and developmental disabilities across multiple sites. Rooted in compassion, dignity, and inclusion, they are committed to empowering individuals to live with independence and purpose. They serve a large and diverse client community through the delivery of high-quality, individualized care, residential services and supports, day programming, outings, and assisted living.
As the new Executive Director, Ross will report to the Board of Directors and will play a pivotal role in leading the organization through a time of modernization, expansion, and impact. He will oversee all aspects of the organization, including program operations, care and delivery, financial and human resource management, and organizational performance, while championing innovation by modernizing systems, digitizing care, and leveraging technology and data to drive accountability, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
A person-centred and collaborative leader, Ross will cultivate and inspire a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous learning and improvement. By implementing objective measures and performance metrics, he will ensure that services consistently meet and exceed the highest standards.
Raised in Montreal, Ross holds a Bachelor of Education from McGill University and a Master of Arts from the University of Ottawa. He began his professional career in sports management, spending a decade leading provincial and national sport organizations in progressively more senior level roles before serving with the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
