Placement: VHA Home HealthCare appoints Trevor Heer as Vice President, Integrated Client & Community Care and Chief Operating Officer
Mirams Becker is thrilled to share that Trevor Heer has been selected as VHA Home HealthCare’s new Vice President, Integrated Client & Community Care and Chief Operating Officer, beginning December 1st.
VHA Home HealthCare (VHA) is a not-for-profit charitable organization that has been a cornerstone of care, compassion and transformation in their communities for over a century. As one of the largest not-for-profit providers of publicly-funded home care in Ontario, their team of over 3,000 homecare specialists provide personal support, nursing, rehab and community support services in Toronto and the GTA as well as in London, Kingston, and Ottawa.
Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, Trevor will be leading important initiatives to enhance the care experience for VHA’s clients, caregivers, staff and service providers, continuing to improve operational efficiencies so that more time can be spent on direct client care, and working closely with sector partners to expand innovative and integrated models of care. Trevor’s business intelligence combined with his people-centred approach and his belief in the important role home care plays in a well-functioning healthcare system, will be key in helping VHA to deliver on its Purpose: Care at home. Delivered with heart. Led by science.
Trevor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Ryerson University and a Master of Health Science from the University of Toronto.
Congratulations Trevor!
